Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday laid stress on the expansion of "Shakhas" up to the level of the panchayat in rural areas.
Addressing RSS workers and leaders in Nagaur during his visit, Bhagwat highlighted the importance of "Shakhas" in the formation of a well-cultured and united society.
Shakhas should be extended up to the level of the panchayat in rural areas, he added.
Bhagwat also spoke about personality development works done by the RSS, a release issued here said.
The RSS chief reached Nagaur Saturday and will attend RSS programmes in Jodhpur region over next two days, it added.
