Shatrughan arrived here specially to meet sister Annapurna Sinha and celebrate Bhaiya Duj. She applied tilak on his forehead and feeded him with sweet on the occasion.
The two shared fond memories of childhood.
"Like any brother and sister we used to love and quarrel with each other. It continues today also," Shatrughan told PTI.
"Being elder to me, she is highly respected in my family. Sonakshi is specially attached to her and calls her Bua mother," he said.
Annapurna is first cousin of Shatrughan Sinha, who are all brothers in family named after mythical character of Ramayan namely Ram, Lakshaman, Bharat and Shatrughan.
Shatrughan, who is Lok Sabha member from Patna Saheb, greeted citizens on the occasion of Bhaiya Duj and Chitragupta puja.
He later visited Chitrugupta Adi temple in Patna city area to be with people on the occasion.
