Speculations were rife that Bachchan and Rajinikanth will be coming together for "Robot 2".
"He (Bachchan) has not been approached for the film yet. He doesn't know anything about it. It is a false news," sources said.
"Robot", a 2010 Tamil sci-fi film with Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead, was directed by S Shankar.
The story revolves around a scientist's struggle to control his creation, an android (both played by Rajinikanth), whose software is upgraded to give it the ability to comprehend and exhibit human emotions.
Big B would be seen next in "Wazir" alongside Farhan Akhtar.
