With the wedding season ahead, the exhibition will be held from September 19-20 and it will showcase wedding products, services and accessories offered to the couples getting married and their families here.
The 'Big Fat Indian Wedding Expo' will bring forward modern and useful changes which are taking place in the wedding industry in India.
According to the organisers of the event, total estimated worth of the Indian wedding market is Rs 100,000 to Rs 110,000 crore of which just the bridal gold and diamond jewellery is worth Rs 60,000 crore and wedding apparel market is Rs 10,000 crore.
Organizers also said that the wedding industry in the Middle East is a booming sector and fastest growing industries in the region and the UAE wedding industry stands at USD 700 million annually.
