Currently, BigBasket.Com offers its service in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune.
"As part of the expansion plans, the company would commence operations in the National Capital Region shortly,", a company statement said.
The online retailer offers fresh fruits and vegetables, grocery, personal care products required for a household, according to BigBasket.Com CEO Hari Menon.
"We see tremendous potential and scalability for the e-grocery space in Chennai. With this launch, BigBasket.Com will now be the new destination for food and grocery buyers across the city..", he said.
