In its forecast for the next 24 hours, the MeT department said Patna and Gaya would witness generally cloudy skies with possibility of rain or thunder or dust storm.
It said there would be generally cloudy skies with light rain in Bhagalpur, while Purnea may witness generally cloudy skies with moderate rain, it said.
Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 36 deg C, while Gaya was the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 36.7 deg C, the state MeT office said.
Patna recorded a maximum level of humidity at 74 per cent in the morning, while it was 58 per cent in the evening.
Purnea recorded 0.3 mm of rainfall, while Patna and Bhagalpur reported traces of rain, the Met department said.
