Bihar Urban Development Minister Suresh Sharma Wednesday met Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri here and discussed several issues, including implementation of the Centre's urban flagship missions in the state.
"Delighted to receive Suresh Sharma, Hon'ble UD & Housing Minister of Bihar in my office today. We discussed the status & implementation of various urban flagship missions in the state (sic)," Puri tweeted after the meeting.
There are several central government-run urban flagship missions, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), Swachh Bharat Urban, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), which are being implemented across the country.
The Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry provides financial assistance to states to execute projects under several missions of the central government.
