"The draft of the Bill is ready. We will table the Bill on regularisation of illegal or unauthorised structures and encroachments during the forthcoming Assembly session," Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar told reporters today after chairing the state Cabinet meeting.
The week-long budget session is scheduled to begin from March 14.
Parsekar said the Bill will regularise the structures, which were constructed before February 28, 2014. "These structures will need to have their land titles clear," he added.
However, he said the structures in Coastal Regulation Zones (CRZ) and along the roadside would not be regularised.
