"We strongly condemn Pal's comment. The comment is obnoxious and atrocious by nature and it qualifies under anti-party activities," Bose, also the CPI(M) politburo member, said.
"The Lok Sabha Speaker should take a suo motu cognisance of it and dismiss Pal's membership of the Parliament's Lower House," the veteran leader said.
Bose, who is also holding the post of Left Front Chairman, called upon people including his party workers and supporters to organise processions in all districts from tomorrow condemning such a comment by an MP for which he is facing widespread condemnation.
Asking the party's women workers and supporters to remain alert against any such threat, Bose asked them to stage dharna before all police stations statewide.
