Discussions with Binny are in the last stages and he may join the party anytime soon, the sources said.
A senior BJP leader said that a final decision will soon be taken in this regard.
Binny, a former MLA from Laxmi Nagar, had quit Aam Aadmi Party last year.
Sources in BJP said that as the party has not announced its candidates so far, it is affecting party's campaign strategy.
"As of now, we have not been able to schedule the party's rallies and any programme related to the forthcoming assembly elections due to the party not announcing its candidates list. AAP and Congress have already announced their all candidates but BJP is still working on this matter due to which party is running behind the schedule," said a senior BJP leader.
