BIT-Mesra attracts 74 recruiters for campus recruitment

The Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) in Mesra has so far attracted 74 recruiters for the campus recruitment programme in 2015-16.
"Seventy-four recruiters so far have come for the campus recruitment programme 2015-16 and have generated a total of 1,135 offers," BIT Vice-Chancellor Prof Manoj Kumar Mishra said here.
Addressing the Diamond Jubilee celebration and the 26th Convocation of BIT in presence of President Pranab Mukherjee, Mishra said, the offers came in the fields of retail, e-commerce, consulting, infrastructure, telecom, automobile, heavy engineering, IT, services and others.
"As of now, average salary is Rs 7.7 lakh per annum and the highest compensation is Rs 26.83 lakh offered by a company," Mishra added.
