Under pressure from different quarters, BJD MP Kalpataru Das's MLA son Pranab Kumar Balabantray today returned another house to the Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB).
The Dharmasala MLA said he had returned a type-I flat number 404 in the Radhakrishna Enclave of Bhubaneswar and had informed the OSHB chairman about it.
The decision to return the second flat came within hours of returning the first one. Balabantray had surrendered one flat at Netaji Subash Enclave in Bhubaneswar to the BDA yesterday.
Balabantray was allotted two flats, one in his name and another in the name of his company under discretionary quota.
There were allegations that Das's family had acquired more than one plots/house in the state capital under the discretionary quota.
