BJP cadres stages demo,lambast Rahul Gandhi for comments on PM

: Volunteers of different wings of BJP staged demonstrations at various centres here today in protest against recent comments by AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The agitators,led by BJP local unit leader V Saminathan, saidRahul Gandhi's commentlast week that Modi 'likes peeping into other people's bathrooms' was highly objectionable.
Some agitators brought out a picture of Rahul Gandhi and tore it. Police intervened to prevent the agitators from proceeding forward and held them back.
There were heated arguments between agitators and police.
