BJP criticise Punjab MLA for bad comment

"No doubt, Punjabis are known for their bravery, hospitality and good attitude. But this act of irresponsible and wild remarks by a Congress legislator of Punjab is an insult to the people of the region," the party said in a press statement.

"It has also badly exposed the ill mentality, lack of knowledge on culture and behaviour of NE people," the party said.

BJP demanded an apology from the MLA for his behaviour.
