"It is a very sensitive matter. Number of people have committed suicide in the scam and the report should be placed before the Assembly," Bhattacharya told reporters.
He alleged that the money from the chitfund scam was used to help anti-national and terrorist activities.
"The matter has gone very far now. Under the new government, the state has become a breeding ground for terrorists," the lone BJP MLA in the Assembly said.
