Son of a former Punjab Chief Parliamentary Secretary was today booked for allegedly sending objectionable content on the mobile phone of a woman, who is posted as clerk in a court here.
The accused identified as Hardeep, son of former MLA of Bhoa (Reserve) constituency Bishamber Dass, was booked under various sections of the IPC pertaining to stalking and criminal intimidation, police said today.
Dass had successfully contested the assembly elections from Bhoa segment in 2007 on a BJP ticket.
The accused is still at large, SSP Rakesh Kaushal said.
In her complaint, the woman alleged that the accused was continuously harassing her by sending obscene/objectionable material and had been threatening her.
