Several top BJP leaders, including central ministers, will camp in Bengal for the next 15 days and speak about the achievements of the Narendra Modi government in the past three years and the "misrule and corruption' of TMC government in Bengal.
"Several of our top leaders and ministers will come to Bengal and this only proves the importance that BJP is giving to the state. We will propagate the achievements of Modi government and will convince the masses that if BJP comes to power in Bengal the same model of development will be replicated in the state," BJP state president Dilip Ghosh said.
Enthused by the landslide mandate in Uttar Pradesh, BJP is keen on making inroads into West Bengal, where it is vying for the opposition space.
The BJP's national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said "Focus is on West Bengal where the appeasement policy of Mamata Banerjee government has crossed all limits."
In Bengal several top central ministers like Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, Minister of State for Finance Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Ananth Kumar, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh will visit various parts of Bengal and hold rallies to speak about the achievements of Modi government.
Celebrations for the third anniversary of Narendra Modi-led NDA government has been organised in 900 cities across the country from May 26 to June 15. BJP has organised 'MODI(Making of developed India) Fest' across the country as part of the celebrations.
