Justice H N Nagamohan Das granted the relief to Vishwanath as it was yet to receive a copy of the Lokyukta court order rejecting the same earlier this month.
Bangalore Rural District Deputy Commissioner M K Ayappa and three other officials arrested in connection with the same complaint were granted bail by the Lokayukta court last month.
The court (Lokayukta) had confirmed Vishwanath's role in the complaint.
