"The political environment in Jammu and Kashmir was never as frightening as it under the present regime of the opportunists BJP and PDP as they have spread an atmosphere of uncertainty," Vice President JKPCC Sham Lal Sharma said today.
Sharma accused the PDP-BJP coalition of taking the state back to the 16th century by imposing a 'blanket ban' on all kinds of internet services in Jammu as well as in Kashmir.
"The blanket ban on the internet services resulted in a huge loss to the trade fraternity. The ban also affected the essential services and students were also the worst sufferers of the ban on the internet services", Sharma said.
"The BJP has stabbed the people of Jammu in the back and violated the mandate to join government in J&K. The people of Jammu region had voted for BJP under the misguided notion that it will hold its ground firmly and would act as a watchdog of Jammu's genuine interest", he said.
