BJP president not to make false statement: Gehlot

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today criticised the Rajasthan BJP President Ashok Parnami's statement on former Advocate General G S Bapna and termed it as all baseless to protect Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
"Parnami should not take support of untruth to protect Chief Minister by making a baseless statement on former ADG Bapna's reference in mines matter", Gehlot said in a statement here.
"ADG had given the legal view on mines allotment to the government, despite many other things my government could not approve auction of mines, and old policy was being run", Gehlot justified.
Yesterday in his press conference, referring to former Advocate General G S Bapana's opinion in the matter of Cement Grade Lime Stone Blocks which was sought by the previous Gehlot government, Parnami said AG had okayed the procedure of allotments of cement grade lime stone blocks under Section 11 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act, 1957.
