BJP's Barmer candidate Sona Ram's assets worth Rs 4.5 crore

BJP's Sonaram Choudhary, who today filed his nomination papers from Barmer riling the saffron party's veteran Jaswant Singh, has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 4.5 crore whereas his wife owns assets worth Rs 4.66 crore.
The value of movable assets of Sona Ram, a retired Army Colonel, is Rs 1,52,16,841 and his wife has movable assets worth Rs 3,74,61,613.
The immovable assets of the retired Colonel and his wife are valued at Rs 2.99 crore and 92.10 lakh respectively, according to an affidavit submitted by Sona Ram.
Both have liabilities.
Sona Ram is liable to pay a loan of Rs 38,28,910 and his wife Rs 17,55,421.

Sona Ram is accused of manhandling a railway staff, an offence punishable for with imprisonment of two years, and facing trial in a case in a Delhi court.
He is also facing investigation in a case related with property dispute lodged by his cousin brother.
