BJP will change face of Nashik if voted to power: Fadnavis

Attacking both the Shiv Sena and MNS, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis today said BJP will "change the face" of Nashik if voted to power in the civic body here.
"Trust me and vote for BJP. I am adopting Nashik and I will change the face of this city, if BJP is voted to power. People should vote for developmental works here," Fadnavis said at an election meeting this evening at the Anant Kanhere ground here.
He took a dig at MNS chief Raj Thackeray saying, every time his "mimicry" style will not help him in coming to power in the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC).
Spelling out recent Central government decisions aimed at public welfare, Fadnavis said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured homes for the poor till 2022 and slashed prices of stents bringing a big relief for heart patients who are required to undergo angioplasty.
On creation of employment opportunities, he said, Mahindra & Mahindra, managing director, Anand Mahindra has decided to invest Rs 1,500 crores in Nashik and Igatpuri plants, which will create more job options.
"BJP also thinking of opening a food park and taking initiative to start air service from Ozar airport," said the chief minister.
