Party Puducherry unit president V Saminathan, who was among the three members nominated by the Centre to the Assembly last week presented a two page petition to Assembly Secretary urging allocation of a room to them.
Saminathan along with party treasurer K G Shankar and S Selvaganapathy, an educationist were inducted as members of the House after the Union Home Ministry had issued the order appointing them as nominated legislators.
He said the Secretary should act impartially.
The induction of the three members was however not accepted by the Speaker V Vaithilingam and he returned all the files recently to Lt Governor stating that there was no official communication from the competent authority to the office of Speaker.
