LJP President Ramvilas Paswan today lambasted the BJP and said its Yatra with urns of those killed in the serial blasts during Narendra Modi's rally here was aimed at disturbing peace in the state.
"One shall not do any politics over anybody's body," Paswan said today.
He took a potshot at BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's revisit to Bihar to go to homes of those killed in the serial blast terming it as an 'attempt to derive political mileage out of the tragedy'.
"Actually it is RSS which will be fighting the coming Lok Sabha elections and not BJP and to win the polls it (RSS) will adopt all tricks, including spreading communal tension," Paswan said.
He also hauled up Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for allowing RSS to strengthen its root in Bihar in the last seven years when JD(U) was in the BJP-led NDA.
LJP would write to Governor D Y Patil for setting up an authority for Chhath festival on the lines of the one for Kumbha Mela, Paswan added.
