The actress, whose birthday was earlier this week, detailed a terrifying pre-birthday encounter that she had with bees in a new post on her lifestyle website, reported Us magazine.
"I spent the week leading up to my big day shooting content for Preserve's coming months. Just yesterday, the final day of the shoot, I felt an electric shock of energy -- was it excitement that I was about to turn another year older? Was it nerves? Why did it feel like agony? I like getting older... I think.
The singer went on to explain that she was not experiencing a quarter-life crisis, but in fact, a physical attack from a swarm of bees.
"I don't know enough about insects to say if they were wasps, honeybees or Mother Nature's miniature flying tasers," Lively wrote.
