Shelton, 39, rescued the guy, Roho Hartman, by pulling his stranded truck out of the water with a tow rope, reported Ace Showbiz.
Roho was heading to his home in the night of the day when he found that a road on his route had been severely damaged and some parts even turned into a river after a recent Tropical Storm Bill.
Roho saw a vehicle successfully made it across the road and decided to drive through the watery path. However, his truck got stuck in the waist-deep water and he together with a passerby driver were forced to push it up a hill.
After the truck was safe up the hill, Shelton offered Roho a ride home.
When Shelton arrived at Roho's residence, he posed for a few pictures with the family before heading back to his way.
