Blast at scrap godown kills two in Pakistan

A mild intensity explosion at a scrap godown today killed two persons and injured two children here in northwest Pakistan, local police said.
The blast occurred at a scrap godown owned by an Afghan refugee at the Ring Road in the outskirts of the city.
The cause of explosion could not be immediately ascertained.
The injured have been rushed to Lady Reading Hospital for treatment, police said.
Two persons were killed in the blast, they said.
The roof of the godown collapsed due to the impact of the explosion.
An investigation is on.
