BMP jawan accidentally shoots himself to death

In a freak accident, a Bihar Military Police (BMP) jawan today accidentally shot himself to death with his carbine at police lines in Darbhanga district.
The victim, identified as Nandkishore Singh, was cleaning his carbine when he accidentally pressed the trigger and fatally shot himself in his head, Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manu Maharaj said.
A native of Begusarai district, Singh was serving with the BMP eighth battalion at Darbhanga, Maharaj said.
