"Every step will be taken to create a better learning environment in the state.
"A board to control private universities and colleges will be set up and government colleges also be opened at every sub-division level in the state," Education minister Kalicharan Saraf said in a conference of university and college teachers in Ajmer today.
Saraf said the government has also given administrative nod to change the names of Matasya University (Alwar), Brij University Bharatpur and Shekhawati University.
The new names of these universities will be Rajrishi Bhartri University, Maharaja Surajmal University and Deen Dayal Upadhyay University respectively, he said.
