Bodies of persons - three woman and a child missing after a boat capsize in Balimela reservoir in Odisha's Malkangiri district, were fished out Wednesday, a senior police officer said.
All the four bodies were found floating in the sprawling water body by the fire brigade personnel two days after the capsize on Monday evening, Inspector In-Charge of Chitrakonda police station, R P Nag said.
The search for them was relaunched in the morning and the four bodies were sent for post-mortem, the IIC said.
The boat with seven persons on board had capsized Kenduguda village under the jurisdiction of Chitrakonda police station on Monday evening after the boatsman lost control over it, he said.
While three of the occupants of the country boat managed to swim to safety, four of them had gone missing.
