Body of woman found with stab marks

The body of a 40-year-old woman, who was missing, was found with stab marks in a drain in Ranhola area of west Delhi, this morning.
Pinki, a native of Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh, who lived along with her daughter Madhu in a rented accommodation in Baprola village was missing since yesterday evening, a police officer said.
Madhu claimed her mother had said that she was going to Nangloi for some work. But when she did not return and Madhu was looking for her, the neighbours informed her about the body of a woman was found in a drain, he said.

Pinki worked as a farm labourer. Her husband Jaswant who was a farmer stayed in Lakhimpur.
A case of murder has been registered as the body bore three stab marks, the police officer said, adding an investigation has been initiated.
