headless body of a man in his 30s at Dhamangaon in Bhiwandi tehsil of the district.
The body was found hidden in bushes between water pipelines, while the severed head was found some distance away.
The body and the head were completely burnt and it was very difficult to ascertain the identity, said the police. Further probe is on.
