Bono takes own bed on tour

U2 frontman Bono reportedly takes his own bed on tour with him so that he does not aggravate his bad back, which was operated on in 2010.
The U2 rocker, who has played hundreds of shows worldwide with his band, suffers from back problems and decided on his last tour to have the bed from his home in Ireland transported to all of the locations he was visiting, reported Contactmusic.
"I know somebody whose job it was to drive Bono's bed from hotel to hotel on the last tour. Bono wanted to sleep in his own bed every night.
"So instead of being able to fly him, I assume, back to Dublin, there was a bed that was in a Ryder (rental) truck and they loaded it into the hotel," a source said.

The 'With or Without You' hitmaker's back problems have been so serious in the past that he even had to undergo surgery in 2010 which resulted in him and his bandmates - The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen, Jr - cancelling their headline set at the Glastonbury festival in Somerset, England.
