The Siddhartha Mishra Memorial Trust (SMMT) and the Odisha Sports Journalists Association (OSJA) organized the 'smruti sabha'. While senior sports journalist Sambit Mohapatra spoke on the occasion, Tirkey described Siddhartha as a "true lover of sports".
