According to police, the victim (18) was returning home after handing over lunch-box to his father yesterday when he was allegedly picked up by a nine unidentified men in a Tavera car near TMT bus stop at Cadbury junction, Rabodi police station senior inspector M D Survase said.
He said, according to the complaint lodged by the boy, he was forcibly dragged into the car and was taken unconscious by the abductors, who later dumped him in the night, at around 11:30 PM, near Titwala.
A case has been booked against the unidentified persons under IPC sections 363 (kidnapping), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison) and further probe into the matter was on, he added.
