Boy charred to death

A boy was charred to death and his sister sustained serious burn injuries when their hut caught fire at Patkum in adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan district today, police said.
Their hut caught fire from a lamp lit on the occasion of Ram Navami.
The boy succumbed to his injuries on arrival to the hospital, police said adding the girl was recuperating at a health centre.
