Boy crushed to death, irate people set truck on fire

The boy, identified as Ravikant Kumar (11) was riding a bicycle when a speeding overloaded truck crushed him under its wheels, the sources said.

A mob gathered on the spot and beat up the driver and cleaner of the truck before setting it on fire to protest rash driving and overloading by the vehicle, he said.

The truck driver and cleaner have been arrested, the sources said.
