Boy dies as school van runs over him

A minor boy died after he was allegedly run over by his school van here today, police said.
The 11-year-old victim, after alighting from the van on reaching the school, came in front of it when the driver without noticing him moved the vehicle, they said.
The boy, a class VI student, sustained serious injuries in the incident and was rushed to Government Hospital where he died during the treatment, police said.
Later, the errant driver was arrested and a case registered against him, they added.
