Boy kills after his seat of swing breaks and hit motor

A 12-year-old boy was killed after his seat broke during a high flying swing ride and hit the motor of it at an exhibition at Arappukottai in the district, police said today.
Twelve year year-old Surya's head hit the motor of the swing and he died on the spot yesterday.
Two others who were thrown off the swing were rescued and rushed to the Madurai Government Rajaji hospital.
The relatives and local blocked the road traffic around mid night yesterday demanding to take action agains the swing owner and exhibition organisers. They dispersed after the police intervened and persuaded them to leave the place promising to take action.

Police today registered a case against the Swing owner Chandrasekhar and organisers of the exhibition, who had put up the exhibition in connection with the local temple festival.
