The father of a 16-year-old boy who allegedly committed suicide in Indirapuram area, today filed an FIR against the boy's girlfriend and her father, holding the duo "responsible" for his son's death.
A class XI student, Varun Rajput(16) was found yesterday in a severely injured condition by the guards of Aaditya city group housing society where he was found lying injured in a pool of blood.
He was taken to a hospital, but was declared dead.
"Varun's father Madan Singh has lodged an FIR against Varun's girlfriend and classmate and her father for killing his son," police said.
"Madan is alleging that Varun was called by his girlfriend's father to his flat. Later, the father-daughter duo threw Varun off the balcony of their flat," said SHO Gorakh Nath Yadav.
The girl's parents were allegedly against her friendship with Varun.
In his complaint, Madan has further alleged that when he reached the spot where his son was lying injured in a pool of blood, they noticed that "most of blood stains were washed away by them and the terrace was partly wet despite there being no rainfall on Wednesday".
"The accused have been booked under section 302 and 201 of IPC. We are trying to ascertain whether Varun committed suicide or he was murdered," said Yadav.
"His other classmate and close friends are also being questioned," he added.
