Pitt made a cameo in Jolie's directorial debut, 'In The Land of Blood and Honey' which had hit the screens in 2011.
He had once said that he would love to work with her again.
Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 38, had met on the set of 'Mr and Mrs Smith'.
