The couple has been dating for 18 months but Spears, 32, decided to end the relationship after a video of Lucado with another girl surfaced online, reported E! News.
The pop star revealed her now-single status in a Twitter post, writing, "Ahhhh the single life!"
A representative for the 'Baby One More Time' hitmaker has also confirmed the news, saying, "Yes, she's single."
Spears and Lucado started dating in 2013, just two months after ending her engagement with Jason Trawick.
She and Lucado were seen steeping out together during a lunch in in Calabasas, California last week.
