Lianmawia (45), resident of Naisingpara relief camp in North Tripura district, was arrested at Tongsnampara in North Tripura district, around 12 kilometres from the Bangladesh border, yesterday in connection with the February 2 kidnapping.
BDFM members had allegedly abducted a large number of people, both Mizos and non-tribals from Mamit district on Mizoram-Tripura-Bangladesh border since 2011.
