BSE Institute launches online financial education platform

BSE institute, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange, today launched its online platform 'bsevarsity.Com' to promote education in the field of financial markets.
The platform would offer finance courses and learning and aims to bring learners across the globe with the knowledge and insights into the capital markets industry.
"We have always aimed at spreading our wings across those regions and countries where there is a need and demand of financial markets education, but is not available," said Ambarish Datta, MD and CEO of BSE Institute.
'www.Bsevarsity.Com' is one such platform which offers finance courses and learning to anybody and everybody in this world on the click of a button," he added.
"BSE Institute aims to address the major challenge faced by students and professionals whereby the knowledge that they acquire from conventional sources is not only out-dated but also not aligned to application in the workplace environment," the institute said in a statement.

In a separate circular, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) said it is holding mock bidding sessions for SGB on its online bidding platform till July 14.
"In order to familiarise with the new facility, the Exchange shall be providing a mock bidding session for new 'gold bond facility' on e-IPO platform from July 12 to July 14, 2016," NSE said.
