"We expect m-wallet mobicash to be rolled out over the next two months. BSNL has chosen SBI as its banking partner in the project," BSNL CGM (Calcutta Telephones) Amit Bhattacharya said here today.
BSNL officials said its m-wallet will be different from others as money can be withdrawn for any unutilised fund and allow withdrawal from SBI ATMs.
"As of now, we don't now know how authentication will happen to withdraw money without ATM card and SBI account but there will be a process that would be known shortly how it can be done," Bhattacharya said.
Besides, one can transfer money using the service.
BSNL will also shortly introduce BSNL Buzz, a cell broadcast service to harness its mobile subscribers base to earn revenue from its potential advertisers.
The service will help advertisers tap potential customers with location-based targeted campaigns and marketing informations, Senior GM (NWO-CM) Biswajit Paul said.
