This is for the first time that a top official of a state-run firm is interacting with consumers through the microblogging site.
"Anupam Shrivastava to interact with consumers in Kerala in #Twitter Townhall on September 21, between 12pm-1pm," BSNL said in a statement.
The 'Twitter Townhall' programme will give consumers in the state opportunity to interact and share their feedback with CMD of the organisation, it said.
"Besides ramping our infrastructure to meet customer expectation we have also kick-started the SWAS or Service With A Smile campaign across the nation to listen and connect with our customers," Shrivastava said.
"CMD will interact with consumers in real time responding to their queries and suggestions," the statement said.
