Bahujan Samaj Party today replaced its candidate for Bahraich Lok Sabha constituency.
"Former MP of Ambedkar Nagar, Tribhuvan Dutt, will be replacing Ramesh Gautam," party's national general secretary Naseemuddin Siddiqui said during a meeting of party workers here today.
Dutt had been jailed in a criminal case.
Siddiqui attacked the SP government, alleging that law and order has collapsed in the state and there was a "rule of goons and mafias".
He called upon the party workers to prepare for the Lok Sabha elections.
