"This Budget is nothing but remarketing by BJP of its populist slogans, which they have failed to deliver. The Budget has been presented keeping in mind the upcoming polls in Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Goa and other states," AITUC national secretary Suhas Naik said.
"There is nothing in the budget to revive the economy...No measures to promote industrial growth...No measures to generate employment.
"What happened to the lakhs of jobs promised by the PM? What happened to Nirmal Ganga Abhiyan, setting up of an industrial corridor, Make In India, etc...These things have just remained on paper," he said.
