"We propose to intensify bilateral trade and economic cooperation with India. The rapidly growing Indian economy is an important strategic partner in the Asian region us," Bulgaria's Deputy Minister of Economy and Energy Anna Yaneva said at a function here.
The region provides low tax rates, skilled workforce, low operating costs and well developed transport and logistics facilities, Yaneva was quoted as saying in a statement here.
Inviting Indian corporate players to set up business in Bulgaria, Yaneva said Asia is an important transit hub to the markets of the European Union, Russia and the Mediterranean region.
