Bullet-riddled bodies found

Two bullet-riddled bodies were found in the Palitpur area in Burwabn town last night allegerdly after a burglary attempt at a gas factory last night.
The police claimed that Dalim Sheikh and Mafizul Sheikh were shot dead in a gang fight inside the factory compound.
Miscreants in two groups had scaled the compound wall of the gas factory and were trying to barge into the oxygen-manufaturing factory through two gates when bullets were exchanged resulting in the deaths, Burdwan police station IC Abdul Gaffar said.
Two persons have been apprehended in this connection, the police said.
Mafizul and Dalim Sheikh's houses were at Hotu Dewan area.

Security guards posted in the gas factory alleged that they had informed the police on seeing the miscreants scaling the wall.
